He has worked on various projects, including the correctness of smart contracts with the methods of static analysis, formal verification and learning techniques, the reduction of gas consumption for smart contracts without compromising functionality and security etc.

His interests are mainly in scalable and secure blockchain protocols, Web 3.0, privacy-preserving blockchain, network economics.

He was an assistant professor at Keio University from Apr. 2016 to Mar. 2019. His research interests include blockchain, incentive mechanism design, and decentralized identity.
