HeLa Community Story

It all started with just three of us in a quiet Discord. No hype. No crowd. Just a clear vision; to build the human layer of a smarter and more connected blockchain world.

As we found our rhythm, DeFi became our tuning fork. Our first channels and conversations gave life to the community. And when we launched the OG and Earlybird roles, over 500 members joined in a matter of days. That was the first signal, the HeLa journey had truly begun.

To grow further, we introduced the Connector Program. This allowed members to lead real collaborations. From that spark, we partnered with over 500 projects in DeFi, gaming, identity, and tooling. This was not marketing. It was real mesh networking powered by you.

We had four Captains — Ume, DeFi, Kris, and Li, guiding the ship across different areas. Under their leadership, we ran quiz nights, weekly game nights, meme pushes, and major campaigns. Every move added energy to our ecosystem.

Then momentum picked up:

  • Our testnet went live in April 2022
  • HL Points were launched
  • Over 30,000 members synced in

But it wasn’t all smooth. A major server breach cost us more than 15,000 members. It was a big hit. Still, the community held strong. We regrouped, rebuilt, and came back with even more force. Your resilience powered the bounce back.

🌐 Mainnet launched in June 2023

🔗 Collaborations kept growing. The signal never stopped.

We even went offline. One of our biggest moments was the community Game Night, over 150 people showed up in person, proving HeLa is not just digital. It is deeply human.

Now here we are.

  • We have passed 49,000 members.
  • We have launched major infrastructure.
  • And we have found our unique identity.

🧬 Season One was about building the signal.

📡 Season Two will be about scaling it.

It is time to shift from activity to alignment, from hype to harmony, and from community to a living network of thinkers and builders.

Season Two is coming.

Your sync has just begun.
